Mysteria Models first venture into movie predator sized model kit prop replicas. These helmets are huge but the actors portraying the creatures are almost 7 feet tall, and buried inside a rubber creature suit even before the addition of the bio helmet. After obtaining an actual movie cast of the original Predator 1 helmet most of those measurement where transferred into sculpting this piece, some elements where made a little larger but the like the film these preds where beefed up a lot.
After sculpting and producing the first bio from the mould an undermask and dreadlocks where sculpted and produced in latex rubber. The original intention for this helmet was for it to be released as a full costuming part for the prop hobbyist but the bio helmet alone was later released as a model kit for hobbyist.
This mammoth helmet is cast in resin reinforced and comes with laser shroud mounting detail along with hose connector detailing, micro mesh metal for eye visor detailing and electronics for laser simulation
Above helmets produced from cold cast aluminium metal resin composite and slightly weathered to give an aged look
Below a gold, brass, bronze, copper enamel paint finish variant
The Bio was released without the battle acid scar left for the modeler to add
